to set the scene i'll just say that i spent the day at the ranch visiting for a bit before i needed to make it to a meeting for work. as usually, time got away from me. but... despite the fact that i had to leave the ranch in such a hurry  i still felt quite confident that i would make it to my meeting in time...also, despite the fact that i had no idea where i was going.  i did however get some mapquest directions and the confidence was back!...then i got stuck behind this OLD LADY...yes, it needed to be in caps b/c its easier to picture me screaming when its like that...who was going about 10 under the speed limit...and i couldn't pass her b/c of the oncoming traffic!!!!  anyways, i still was 'on track' with the directions even though the clock was slowly ticking closer and closer to the meeting time.  thankfully, the old lady pulled off...finally, i should still be able to make it in time!! but wait, the directions say to turn right onto a road that, i'm pretty sure doesn't even exist in the state of maryland!  where in peter's name is this road?  not there, i know for a fact!    so much for making it to the meeting on time...well, i guess rolling in a couple mins late won't make too much of a scene..i thought....if i could find it!   needless to say, 25 mins after the fact, i finally found it. is it even worth showing up at this point?!! i considered it, but i kinda needed to, so in walks michele...late and trying not to appear as frazzled as i felt. :)  the end.

WILL WE EVER GET THERE?!

i know what you all are thinking...you're looking at the date and time and are wondering how in the world i'm in front of a computer right now...since i'm supposed to be in the air on a flight to maui....well...let's just say that an over-turned semi with its contents spilled all over the highway was only a small set back in our travels today.  after getting flights moved, switched, and bumped...we are now on a flight leaving tomorrow morning.   there's no need to bore you with the endless story of the incompetence of the airline service today and how we spent the morning standing in one long line only to be told we weren't supposed to be there but in the other long line which had previously told us to be in the line we were already in!!!  you think you're confused...so were we!   so the question still remains...will we ever get there?!....to be continued.
